How quickly do I get paid after my event? +
Sales land in your TixRSVP wallet in real time as tickets are bought — you can see earnings update live in your dashboard. You can withdraw to your bank account at any point. Withdrawal processing depends on your country: Nigerian banks typically clear within hours via Paystack/Flutterwave; international transfers via Stripe take 1–3 business days.
What does TixRSVP actually cost? +
Free events are free to host — no fees ever. For paid events, we charge a small percentage per ticket sold, with no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no minimums. You can either absorb the fee yourself or pass it on to ticket buyers — your choice. WhatsApp campaigns to past attendees are billed separately with three pricing options (per-message, package, or revenue-share). Full pricing is transparent in your organizer dashboard before you commit.
Do attendees need to download an app? +
No. Ever. Tickets arrive as a PDF boarding pass via email and (optionally) WhatsApp. Attendees just open the email, show the QR code at the door, and walk in. No app installs, no account creation, no friction. The same QR works on any scanner — your phone, our scanner app, or any third-party scanner.
What countries and payment methods do you support? +
We work in any country Stripe operates in (40+ globally), plus enhanced local support for Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa (via Paystack and Flutterwave) and India (via Razorpay and Paytm). Buyers can pay with cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, USSD, and mobile money where available. We auto-route to the right gateway based on the buyer's country code.
What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule my event? +
You can issue full or partial refunds to attendees from your dashboard at any time — the money returns to their original payment method automatically. For reschedules, update the event date and we'll automatically re-send updated boarding passes to everyone who's bought a ticket, and Tixxie will message attendees on WhatsApp to confirm. We strongly recommend setting a clear refund policy on your event page so expectations are managed upfront.
How does the WhatsApp agent (Tixxie) actually work? +
Tixxie is an AI agent built on WhatsApp Cloud API that lets users discover and buy event tickets through chat. Users can ask natural questions like “any concerts in Lagos this weekend,” and she instantly pulls matching events from a live catalog, presents options, and completes checkout through a secure payment link. After purchase, the ticket is delivered directly inside WhatsApp as a boarding pass, and automated reminders are sent before the event with key details like venue and timing. No user account is required, and events are automatically visible in the system without any extra setup from organizers.
Can I prevent ticket fraud and resale? +
Every ticket has a unique cryptographic ID embedded in the QR code, and our scanner marks tickets as used the moment they're scanned. Try to scan the same ticket twice and the second attempt fails immediately. Screenshots and forwards don't help an unauthorized buyer because the first valid scan wins. For high-risk events you can also enable name-printing on tickets and ID checks at the door.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment? +
No. TixRSVP is pay-as-you-go. No monthly subscriptions, no annual contracts, no minimum sales targets. Sign up free, host one event or a hundred — fees only apply when you actually sell paid tickets. You can leave at any time and your data is yours to export.
How secure is my organizer account? +
Every organizer login requires a 6-digit code sent to your email — even after entering your password. You also get a "new login" alert email every time someone signs in, showing the IP address and device used. Wrong codes lock the session after 5 attempts. All payment data is processed by PCI-DSS-compliant gateways (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe) — TixRSVP never stores card numbers.
